Having worked in the commercial print industry for most of my career played a major part in forging my interest in photography. Unlike many photographers I have only ever worked with digital cameras, starting with a Canon IXUS way back in 2004.

The images.
Dominic only shoots in raw and processes his images in Adobe Lightroom. No sky replacement or any other composition techniques are used. He doesn’t add, remove or re-locate parts of the landscape within his images.
In his studio the screen and printer are calibrated to ensure maximum colour accuracy. We print and frame in house in the gallery using archival papers, pigment based inks and high precision framing techniques.

Verdun House Gallery is primarily selling direct to the public face to face, from the high street location in Barmouth. This is where you can see the product up close, talk to us about the images and choose the size and finish - and take the piece home straight away AND get the best price. However, if you prefer to buy online and have the piece delivered to your door we need specialist packaging and couriers to take care of it due to the fragile nature of real glass and wooden frames. Therefore, there is an extra cost involved and that’s why the online prices may be a little higher than what you see in the physical gallery.
