How do I know what size I am buying?

You can find detailed dimensions, ratios and measurements via a link under the description of each item in the online shop, or alternatively by clicking here

What about frames and mounts?

We used wooden mouldings for our frames, and textured white board for the mounts. From time to time the mouldings can vary a little bit, depending on availability and stock. The frames you see in the images in online shop are digital representations of the real thing - so they may look slightly different in real life. If you need to match a frame you bought from us previously, please contact us so that we can help you find the perfect match.

What is the difference between standard glass and ART glass, also known as Anti Reflective glass?

Standard glass is what you will find in most off the shelf frames. You may have noticed that glass panes have a slight green hue if you look at the edge. This is due to iron oxide content which is an impurity in the glass. It is not very noticeable if you look straight through it, but it does alter the image ever so slightly.

We offer the option to have better quality glass, which does cost a little bit more but really makes a difference. Not only is almost invisible, but it also offers superior UV protection and reduces reflection from lights and windows so you can enjoy the framed print fully. We use Tru-Vue AR 70 anti-reflective glass - This water white, low iron glass offers crystal clear color transmission and a virtually invisible, anti-reflective surface for truly amazing clarity. In addition it filters up to 70% of UV rays and its enhanced surface ensures improved durability and easy cleaning. This is the glass you will get if you select the "Anti Reflective" option.

What is a giclée print?

Giclée Printing is a printmaking method that uses a spray nozzle to print a digitised image onto specialist paper using a large format inkjet printer. Our fine art giclée prints are made on archival quality coated paper and printed with pigment based archival inks which are UV stable. To get the optimum result our Canon printer has a twelve colour pigment based ink set. A giclée print made this way can be lightfast for up to 100+ years, but this depends on factors such as paper type and storage conditions. By using pigment based archival inks, the archival properties of a giclée print are significantly higher than traditional silkscreen or litho prints.

How much is the delivery cost?

The delivery cost is £15 per order + £5 for each extra item if you order more than one item at the same time. So delivery cost for 1 item is £15 and delivery cost for a parcel containing 2 items is £20. The price is the same independent of size.

Delivery times - how long will I have to wait?

Every item is made to order, especially for you. We will process your order straight away but due to everything being hand made it can take up to 10 working days to receive your parcel. Please contact us before ordering if you have an urgent requirement. We will do our best to help.

Returns - can I change my mind?

We adhere to all relevant UK consumer law, but here is a brief guide what to expect:

If you bought something from the gallery in person, and there is nothing wrong with it and you've simply changed your mind we are not obliged by law to take it back and issue a refund. We want you to be happy with your choice, so where possible we will consider exchanging it for something that is more suitable, so if this applies to you please contact us to discuss.

When you order online each item is a bespoke item made to order for you, and as such we do not need to offer a refund unless the item arrives faulty or damaged. If you suspect that the item has been damaged in transit, please take photos of the outside of the package and photos while you unwrap it so that we can raise the issue with the courier for remedial action.

Even though there is no statutory right to a refund or exchange for bespoke items, if you have a concern about your order please speak to us so that we can try and find a resolution.

Pricing - how do I get the best price?

You will always get the best price if you buy direct from the physical gallery. The prices shown in the online shop are almost always higher due to the complications of courier delivery, breakages, returns etc.
